Change Log
Reflow Version 1.5.3 (build 32)
This January 2022 release includes new features, improvements and bug fixes.
User Profiles
- Niagara 4 Roles are now supported in Reflow User Profiles
- Easily provide access to groups of users by their Niagara Role
- The role method is ideal for single sign-on/LDAP users who have roles automatically assigned based on their Niagara user prototypes
- Find the options in Settings > User Profiles > Profile > Roles
Histories
History Index Table View
- A table view is now supported (in addition to the existing default cards/grid view). This can be toggled in the Reflow view using the new grid and table icons in the header. The table view will revert to the grid view on mobile devices
- The default view style (table/grid) can be set in the Histories configuration settings
- Reflow will remember a user's last view style and apply it the next time the user navigates to the page
Chart previews (on mouseover in the grid view, and always visible in the table view) can be configured in the History config menu
The History config menu structure and order has been altered to provide more context and better organization of config options
History names are displayed in a more user friendly way on the index page; this feature can be turned off in the Histories config menu with the 'Format History Names' option
- Leading slashes are trimmed
- Slashes in the middle of names are replaced with separators
- Underscores are replaced with spaces
Equipment
- The Attachments button icon and button/popup title can now be customized globally under the Equipment > Graphics Settings option. They can also be customized per device by going to the Device > Attachments settings option. Customizing per device will override the global settings
- Equipment breadcrumbs are no longer clickable if the user profile doesn't have access to the pages they link to; previously they would redirect to the user profile's landing page
- Reflow style device graphics no longer show an error if an image or Niagara 4 view is not selected, and if large cards are enabled they will fill the entire width of the page, similar to small cards
Floors
- New option for 'Hidden on Building Pages' - when enabled, the floor thumbnail/link will not appear in the Floors section of the Building Index Page and will not appear on the Floors page of a Building
- New option for 'Hidden in Quick Navigation' - when enabled, the floor will not appear in the floor selector drop down when viewing floors and users will not be able to navigate to it using the left/right arrows
Dashboards
- Equipment List card
- Devices in the list now display their associated building next to their floor
- You can now choose the hyperlink style of items in the list:
- Global Equipment - devices are linked to the global equipment pages (previous behavior)
- Building Equipment - devices are linked to their equipment page under their assigned building, if the device does not have a building/floor assigned, the link will fall back to the global equipment page
- History Chart card
- Charts now take up more space in the card and padding around menu options, title, and subtitle has been reduced
- The hyperlink to the chart builder can now be disabled
- History Sparkline card
- The hyperlink to the chart builder can now be disabled
Schedules
- Schedules now load as embedded views in a Reflow page instead of in a popup. This behavior can be changed in the Schedules configuration using the new 'Editor Style' option
- Schedules now support custom BFormat strings for their display names by using the new 'Custom BFormat' option in the Name Format dropdown in the Schedules config
Misc
- LinkPicker
- Niagara 4 views can now be loaded as Reflow pages in addition to the previously supported popup windows
- This new option is next to the view selection box in the Link Picker
- Page-style views are the new default, the original behavior of a popup can be set by editing existing hyperlinks and selecting "popup"
- Action forms now support custom actions that use BFloat instead of BDouble as their input type
Bug Fixes
- Alarms
- Fixed an issue where some building alarm status pages would link to the global alarm pages
- Fixed an issue where the unack only toggle switch would not work on alarm consoles
- Fixed an issue where linking to active alarms would not work if you were on a building's alarm console
- Equipment
- Fixed an issue where the default thumbnail would clear when you save an equipment type
- Fixed an issue where device file attachments only accepted Excel files with an extension of 'xls' and not 'xlsx'. Both file extensions are now supported
- Fixed an issue where the schedules link could be cut off in a device graphic's title when longer building/floor/room names are used on smaller screen sizes
- Dashboards
- Fixed an issue that prevented custom color selection for multiple lines in history dashboard cards
- Fixed an issue where Equipment Groups were selectable in the Equipment List dashboard card config
- Histories
- Tooltips now properly display when hovering over a history name on the history index page in Chrome
- Fixed an issue where the chart in the History Chart card could break flow off screen when a large number of histories or histories with longer names were added
- Misc
- Fixed an issue with reordering sub navigation lists
- Fixed an issue where floor plan labels on mobile devices would not display bound points if the "Reflow Device" binding type was used
- Fixed an issue that could prevent building pages from displaying if no devices were assigned to their floors
- Fixed an issue where Link Picker values could not be cleared, preventing removal of hyperlinks from dashboard cards and floor plan elements
- Fixed an issue in Settings > Additional Options where clicking the 'Reset to Default Configuration' soon after dismissing the Getting Started Wizard would not cause the configuration to be reset to default
- Fixed an issue where scrollbars could appear on embedded PX files in Chrome and Edge (Windows only)
Niagara 4.10.1 Notice
There is a known issue affecting all versions of Reflow in Workbench on Niagara 4.10.1. This issue only affects access to Reflow in Workbench and does not affect Reflow on 4.10.1 stations or in web browsers. Tridium has released a fix for this in Niagara 4.11. For more details consult the Reflow Documentation.
